Description
As an Actuarial Analyst in the Employee Benefits Department, you will support the design, valuation, and analysis of employee benefit and pension programs. You will work closely with senior actuaries to analyze data, prepare actuarial calculations, and deliver insights that help clients make informed decisions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to build a strong foundation in actuarial consulting and employee benefits.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the valuation and analysis of employee benefit plans.
- Collect, validate, and analyze data for actuarial calculations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Support the pricing and costing of employee benefit programs.
- Perform actuarial calculations.
- Conduct research on industry trends, regulations, and market practices.
- Collaborate with consultants and actuarial teams on client projects.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of data, calculations, and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor and/or master’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of actuarial or statistical software is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A willingness to learn and pursue professional actuarial qualifications is an asset.
