Mr. Ibrahim Muhanna, BSc, BSEE, MS, FCAA, FLAA, MSAA 
Managing Director
Mr. Ibrahim Muhanna established i.e. Muhanna & co Actuarial and Consultants in 1986, Omnilife insurance company in the UK in 1988, The Muhanna Foundation in 1994 and i.e. Muhanna & co Rating Services in 2000. He graduated from the University of Michigan (1976) with MSc in Actuarial Mathematics. Since 1986 he has advised 52 insurers, 23 governments and other clients in 37 countries. He has written several papers & delivered over 300 presentations on actuarial and insurance issues. Since 1995 Mr Muhanna has been a member of the International Actuarial Association (IAA) Council. He is also a member of the IAA Executive Committee and is actively involved in other IAA Committees & Sections. For example, he is the Chairperson of the Members Services Committee and the Chairperson of the Steering Committee of the IAA Education Program. The founding member of the IAA Health Section and served as a vice chair until 2005. He is a vice chairman of the actuarial technical commission of the International Social Security Association (ISSA). Also, he is the first chairman of the Cyprus Actuarial Association, member of the Swiss Association of Actuaries and he is the Past President of the Lebanese Association of Actuaries, a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in the UK and previous member of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IASI). In 2007, he was awarded “The National Order of the Cedar” by the Lebanese President. The award is in recognition of his great service & devotion to the Nation.

Mr. Iyad Hourani, FSA, FCIA, FLAA 
Managing Actuary and Director
Mr. Iyad Hourani is the Managing Actuary and Director at i.e. Muhanna & co. He has over 18 years experience in the actuarial field and has been a consultant for over 15 years; specializing in Employee Benefits, Retirement Schemes, and Strategic Advisory Services.

He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Lebanese Actuarial Association. He graduated with an Actuarial Sciences Degree from Laval University in Quebec, Canada. 

He began his career in Canada where he worked at a large multinational insurance company, as well as at two international HR and actuarial consulting firms. His experience includes actuarial, HR, pension fund asset allocation and management consulting services to multinational companies, private corporations and para-public organizations in the following countries: Canada, USA, France, Lebanon, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Tanzania as well as other countries in the Middle-East and Africa. 

Throughout his career, he has been continuously engaged in education and capacity building, teaching at several universities. Moreover, he actively participated in the development and delivery of several specialized training programs related to HR, Retirement Systems, and actuarial practice.

Mr. Joseph Khalife
Social Insurance Expert & Director

Mr. Joseph Khalife worked in the National Social Security Fund (Lebanon) for 42 years and served as the Cabinet Director for over 11 years. He holds a Law Degree from the Lebanese University and Sagesse Universite (Lebanon), as well as a Diploma in Higher Studies in Social Insurance Administration from the National Institute of Specialized Studies in Social Insurance in France.
Mr. Joseph Khalife is a participating member in the establishment of the draft laws on retirement and social protection in Lebanon. He lectured and participated in the social insurance field at the Institute of Health Administration in the University of Saint Joseph, as well as the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Holy Spirit (Kaslik) and in the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture - Institut Franco-Libanais. He has prepared and conducted several research and studies in retirement systems, social protection, social health insurance and supervisory rules of social security.

Mr. Marinos Theodosiou, FCAA 
Senior Actuary

Mr. Marinos Theodosiou graduated from the Leicester University with a BSc in Economics followed by a post graduated diploma in Actuarial Science from Herriot Watt in Scotland. In 2003 he obtained the MSc in Actuarial Management from City University. He is a fellow of Cyprus Association of Actuaries. Mr Marinos Theodosiou worked for 2 years at Paneuropean Insurance Company as an investment advisor. He then worked for a year at the University of Cyprus as a postgraduate associate working on a project investigating the financial cost of the Turkish Invasion to Cyprus and its allocation. Marinos Theodosiou is working for i.e. Muhanna & co since 1998. He is now a Senior Actuary in Pensions and Insurance. He is also the manager of the Doctors and Dentists pension fund, administered by i.e. Muhanna & co. He has advised many semi-government organizations as well as private companies in Cyprus and the Arabian Gulf on funding and accounting actuarial valuations for pension funds. In addition, he is a consulting actuary for life and non life insurance companies in Cyprus and overseas.

Mrs. Tassia Tsikkinis, BSc, MSc 
Senior Actuary
Mrs. Tassia Tsikkinis graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury with a BSc in Actuarial Science. She holds a Masters degree in International Securities, Investment and Banking from ICMA centre of the University of Reading. She is a member of the Cyprus Association of Actuaries. Mrs Tassia Tsikkinis is working with i.e. Muhanna & co. since August 2001 and she is today a Senior Actuary for Pensions and Social Insurance. Her experience includes actuarial consulting services to governments and other national social insurance schemes in the following countries: Bahrain, Cyprus, Gambia, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. Beyond the standard actuarial services (actuarial reviews and IAS 26), she assisted many of these organisations in reforming their systems to ensure long term financial sustainability. In addition, she trained officers of these authorities on actuarial related issues relevant to social insurance. She is also responsible for the research projects undertaken by the company.

Mr. Mohammad M. Bani Amer,PhD, CHRC,CIPT
Senior Consultant for Strategic Planning and Development
He has presented many consultancy projects in the Arab World, as well as holding a number of positions in both public & private sectors, as Director of the Studies & Strategic Planning Department, Director of the Studies & Policies Department, Director of the Monitoring of Strategic Implementation Department; he also worked as the Assistant Director General for Corporate Performance Development and the Executive Training Manager. He has worked with several governments in: Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman. Mr. Bani Amer has a PhD in Human Resource Management. He is an accredited Human Resources Consultant from the Canadian Association of Business Managers. He is a Liaison officer for King Abdullah’s Reward for Governmental Distinction and Transparency. He is a Member of the Association of Administration & Public Policy Analysis, as well as a member of the Union of Arab Trainers. He has presented several training programs in the Arab World. He joined The Muhanna group, Lebanon in August 2009 and today is a Senior Advisor for Strategic Planning and Development at i.e. Muhanna & co. and the Training Manager at the Muhanna Foundation.
